Your website should be the central source of information for your BJC, keep that up to date and accurate and reflect that information on whatever social networking sites, forums and usenet groups are applicable at the time.

Your website can be a very important marketing tool, don't waste it.

The more information you put easily to find on your website hopefully the fewer questions you will have to spend time answering.

Choose and register an easy to remember, easy to spell and relevant domain name, this will help people to find your website. Previous domains have been;

  • www.bjc2009.com (and .co.uk),
  • www.bjc2010.co.uk,

You may notice a pattern.

Having both .com and .co.uk domains (like Norwich 2009 did) means that the public has more chance of typing the correct suffix. Domains are fairly cheap (if nobody already owns them), but you should only advertise one website address to avoid confusion. The other domain name should redirect users to your main one.

Your website can be hosted for free by contacting Mini Mansell or User:Jam.
