Provision of drinking water is always a difficult task, the campsite is rarely close to a source of potable water.

Campers will complain if they have to walk too far for water to use for drinking/cooking/washing, but if a hosepipe is run close to the campsite then there is also the issue of safe drainage as the hose/tap WILL be left running.

A drinking water tap should ideally have room underneath it to fit a reasonable sized water container. Imagine a big saucepan, washing up bowl, etc.

Caterers will also need a supply of drinking water.
