There was no BJC in 2019 as the EJC was held in the UK that year and there was not enough enthusiasm for two big juggling events. A meeting was held at EJC, in August 2019, on where to hold EJC 2020 and it was decided that it would be in Perth, but due to there being less than a year to organise it, BJC 2020 would be held in summer rather than spring.
